We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the workspace. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as required. Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using basic maths skills. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Engage with customers to enhance their experience, addressing any questions or concerns professionally.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is essential but further training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is advantageous. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment helps ensure smooth operation during busy times. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. Strong time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours. Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
