Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop barista skills and gain valuable experience in customer service. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, basic food prep, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Tips are split evenly between the staff.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of beverages including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, adhering to company recipes and standards Prepare and serve a range of simple dishes Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, such as assembling snacks or light meals Manage cash register operations, including handling payments with basic maths skills. Maintain a clean and organised work station, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers politely and professionally Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery Follow health and safety regulations consistently to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Experience

Previous barista experience is essential Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced setting is desirable Familiarity with food preparation tasks is beneficial Strong time management skills are essential to handle multiple orders efficiently
