Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation and serving, while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who are organised, punctual, and enthusiastic about working in the hospitality industry.

This would NOT suit a student due to the hours, the hours are between 8am and 4pm. Mon-Fri.

We do not work evenings, and only a few weekends.

We close over Christmas for a lovely break!

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards. Ensure all food safety regulations are followed diligently to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards. Serve customers efficiently with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and handling cash or card payments using the POS system. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, equipment, and seating spaces throughout your shift. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.

Qualifications

Previous

Barista experience

is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of

food safety

standards is advantageous. Experience in

serving

customers in a hospitality setting is desirable. Basic

maths

skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to perform

food preparation

tasks efficiently and safely. Strong

time management

skills to handle multiple orders during peak times while maintaining quality service. Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills. Pay: From 12.21 per hour
