We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the cafe operates smoothly during busy periods. Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout shifts Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system efficiently Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders and providing recommendations when needed Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as necessary to ensure smooth service Uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation in line with company policies Support team members during busy periods to ensure prompt service Chocolate sales and packaging

Qualifications

Previous

barista experience

is essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of

food safety

regulations and best practices Experience in

serving

customers with professionalism and courtesy Basic

maths

skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately Strong

time management

skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
