Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, in accordance with company standards. Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed during food preparation and service. Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service. Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including cleaning equipment and sanitising surfaces regularly. Manage cash register operations, handle transactions efficiently, and provide correct change. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Follow health & safety guidelines consistently to create a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Skills

Previous

Barista experience

is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures is highly desirable. Experience in

serving

customers with professionalism and courtesy. Basic

food preparation

skills to assist with additional tasks as required. Strong

time management

skills to handle busy periods effectively without compromising service quality. Good

basic maths

skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent

skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Ability to work efficiently within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
