Barista

to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and light food items. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, following company standards. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or baked goods as required. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of service. Serve customers efficiently with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and managing transactions using the point-of-sale system. Keep the work area clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times. Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Ensure timely delivery of drinks and food to optimise customer satisfaction. Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

Previous

barista experience

is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures is desirable. Experience in

serving

customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous. Basic

food preparation

skills are beneficial. Good

time management

skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Basic

maths

skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong

customer service

skills with a friendly, approachable manner. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-14.35 per hour
