Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee, cake and customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries they may have. Handle cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for both staff and customers.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. A basic understanding of food safety practices is beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work well in a team and provide excellent customer service at all times. A genuine interest in coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
