Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards. Assist customers with menu selections and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit. Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and manage customer payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, counters, and dining spaces, in compliance with food safety regulations. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Follow food safety procedures at all times to uphold hygiene standards. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or pastries when required. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a

Barista

or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures is desirable. Experience in

serving

customers and handling cash transactions confidently. Basic

food preparation

skills are advantageous. Good

time management

skills to handle peak periods efficiently. Basic

maths

skills for processing payments accurately. Strong

customer service

orientation with excellent communication skills. Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
