Role Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic

Barista / Cafe All-Rounder

to join our onsite cafe team within a vibrant leisure venue offering

padel

,

reformer pilates

, and a welcoming cafe space.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys delivering great service, working as part of a team, and contributing to a positive atmosphere for members, players, and visitors.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Barista Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, hot drinks, and cold beverages Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Deliver friendly, professional service to all customers Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation
Cafe Support & All-Round Duties

Assist with food preparation and serving (where applicable) Support stock replenishment and deliveries Keep the cafe, seating areas, and service counters clean and organised Assist with opening and closing tasks as required
Team & Venue Support

Work closely with the Cafe Supervisor and wider venue team Support busy periods, events, classes, and peak padel times Be flexible to help across different areas of the cafe when needed
Health, Safety & Compliance

Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures Maintain a safe and clean working environment Adhere to company policies and standards at all times
Skills & Experience

Essential

A positive attitude and strong customer service skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and a good team player

Desirable

Previous barista or cafe experience Coffee-making skills and interest in specialty coffee Food hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Personal Attributes

Friendly, approachable, and professional Able to multitask and stay calm during busy periods Takes pride in delivering great service Flexible and willing to learn
