As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and surrounding areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and serving. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, ensuring freshness and presentation standards are met. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality.

Skills

Previous barista experience is highly desirable, showcasing an understanding of coffee brewing techniques and equipment. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of customers. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer interaction and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions efficiently. Excellent time management abilities to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
