Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful applicant will contribute to the overall positive experience of our customers while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of beverages including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks according to company standards. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly. Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system. Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing any queries or concerns professionally. Assist in food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.

Experience

Previous

barista experience

is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and hygiene practices is advantageous. Experience in

serving

customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial. Basic

food preparation

skills are preferred. Good

time management

skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Ability to perform

basic maths
