As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards, all while managing your time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills during the process. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods while managing time effectively.

Skills

Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of our customers. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
