We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Supervisor to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality beverages. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for coffee, a strong understanding of food safety and preparation, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a supervisor, you will ensure the smooth operation of the coffee shop while fostering a positive atmosphere for both staff and customers.

Responsibilities

Provide the daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and maintaining cleanliness in all areas. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and resolving any issues that may arise. Implement time management strategies to optimise workflow during peak hours. Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning correctly; report any maintenance issues promptly.

Skills

Barista training/experience essential. Team supervision an advantage Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic maths skills for card machine balancing and inventory management. Ability to help team members develop their skills while fostering a positive work environment. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staff alike.
