Summary

We are seeking a General Assistant to join our dynamic team at The Genuine Dining Co. in central Southwark. This role is vital in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and high-quality food, contributing to our mission of creating functional and enjoyable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure high standards of quality Serve food and beverages to clients with a focus on exceptional customer service Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, adhering to food safety standards Support barista functions, preparing coffee and other beverages as needed Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency Manage time effectively to meet service demands during peak hours Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as required Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a food service or catering environment is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Barista experience is a plus but not mandatory Excellent serving skills with a customer-oriented approach Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
