Coffee Lovers needed!

We are looking for a Barista/ Sales Person who will be responsible for both crafting and serving beverages, as well as assisting customers with purchases and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a blend of coffee-making expertise, sales skills, and a commitment to creating a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greeting customers warmly and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Providing excellent customer service, including taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations. Handling customer enquiries and resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction. Building rapport with customers and promoting a positive brand image.
Beverage Preparation:

Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks. Following recipes and maintaining quality standards for all drinks. Operating and maintaining cleanliness of coffee equipment.
Sales and Promotion:

Promoting and selling coffee beans, brewing equipment, and other related products. Educating customers about different coffee types, brewing methods, and menu options. Up-selling additional items and promoting special offers.
General:

Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, including the coffee bar and customer areas. Following health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Contributing to a positive team environment and assisting with other tasks as needed. Communicating customer feedback and suggestions to management. Adapting to changing situations and customer needs.
Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skills. Knowledge of coffee and brewing methods.
This role combines the art of coffee making with the skills of sales and customer service, requiring a blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and a passion for creating a positive customer experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.25-13.00 per hour
