We are currently seeking a warm, professional, and enthusiastic

Part-Time Barista

to deliver exceptional service in our busy, welcoming cafe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team within a successful and growing independent business.

About the Role

As a barista at Yarnton Cafe, you will be at the heart of the customer experience - serving expertly prepared hot and cold beverages, assisting with light food service, and ensuring every guest receives a friendly, personal welcome.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and thrives as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, teas, and cold drinks to consistently high standards Provide a warm, efficient, and professional front-of-house experience for all guests Assist with light food preparation, including cakes, pastries, and seasonal snacks Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the cafe Operate the till and manage orders and payments accurately Restock supplies and assist with daily opening and closing procedures Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations

What We're Looking For

Previous barista or cafe experience preferred, but not essential - full training will be provided A genuine interest in food, drink, and customer service A friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Flexibility to work weekends and during peak periods
