Job Description

Erimus Chambers require a Barristers Clerk to assist and work within the clerking team at our Seaton Admin Office (EX12) - providing administrative services to Barristers covering courts throughout England & Wales.

Chambers is seeking someone with previous clerking experience or previous experience working in a chambers/legal environment - although other candidates who have the required experience and can demonstrate the necessary skills and aptitude will be considered as full on the job training will be given.

Duties will include:

Diary management Fee management - including Family Legal Aid Administration Handling and dealing with general enquiries Updating Databases and IT Systems Document Creation Managing high volume email mailboxes and digital documentation
Skills required:

Ability to work under pressure - can be very busy A strong team player, able to communicate effectively at multiple levels Excellent oral and written communication skills Client focused - polite and professional Proficient in IT - this is essential
100% office based role in Seaton, Devon - full time 5 days week - 9 to 5.30

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
