Are you an experienced Bar Manager seeking a unique opportunity? We are looking for a Bars Manager dedicated to providing an exceptional fine dining experience to our guests to join our amazing team at The Nook on Five, Cheltenham's first rooftop restaurant!

About us

Opening this autumn, our ethos is to serve fresh and innovative dishes whilst working with local suppliers to highlight their craft. We will be operating throughout the day, providing working Breakfasts, Lunches, Afternoon Tea and an A La Carte offering. We also have a Chef's Table in the kitchen!

About you

Our ideal candidate has:

? Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role managing multiple bars

? Experience within the west-end cocktail industry would be advantageous

? Top 3 rooftop bar in the UK

? Excellent communication skills and can liaise with different levels of stakeholder, including direct reports, senior management, and customers

? A clear understanding of Health & Safety regulations, following the correct procedures and completing due diligence

? Strong organisational skills and a meticulous and methodical way of working

? Confidence in managing a large team

? A creative approach to the craft of cocktail-making, drawing inspiration from popular trends

What you'll be doing

? supporting the design and creation process for menus and events. We encourage the cocktails and drinks menu to be changed regularly to coordinate with local events, and feature seasonal fruit garnishes etc.

? leading, motivating, and managing your team including supporting your reports with their training and development needs (as well as your own!)

? effectively managing the day-to-day operation of our bars (one located in the rooftop restaurant at The Nook and the other on our ground Floor at The Quad), including ensuring the bar is continually meeting our strict quality and service standards

? endeavouring to continually improve guest satisfaction and maximise financial performance and achieve or exceed budget expectations

? proactively engage with our guests and deal with customer issues and complaints effectively
