Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus in a courteous manner Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the service area at all times Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards diligently Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Assist with setting up tables and clearing after service as needed

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous Strong understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene standards Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Good organisational skills to manage multiple tables efficiently Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-18.90 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 13 per week
