We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at The Castle at Edgehill. The ideal candidate will have experience working behind a fast paced bar and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained. Your ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.

The role would require evening and weekends, although we can be flexible with a full or pat time position .

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order. Assist customers with their drink selections, providing recommendations when necessary. Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper accounting for all sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices in the preparation and serving of drinks. Participate in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
