About The Role

The Avenue Cinema, a fully licensed luxury cinema experience in the heart of Belfast, is seeking talented Bartenders to join our front of house team. You will create premium drinks and assist with bar operations, helping deliver a smooth, enjoyable experience for every guest.

As a bartender, you will play a key role in maintaining a professional, safe, and fun environment while supporting your team to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Prepare and serve hot, cold, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard. Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar and concession area. Assist with setting up and closing down the bar in line with operational guidelines. Support day-to-day bar operations, completing tasks assigned by senior managers. Address customer enquiries or issues, escalating to duty managers as needed. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Adhere to licensing laws and maintain high standards of personal grooming and uniform. Any other duties as directed by management.

Essential Criteria

1-2 years' experience in a busy bar environment, including cocktail preparation. Good knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits. Experience using front of house systems / POS desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Team-focused with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards. Flexible availability for days, evenings, and weekends.
