Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences, while ensuring the highest standards of service and cleanliness.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Engage with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for billing purposes. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to enhance the overall dining experience. Stay updated on new drink trends and menu items to provide informed suggestions to guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for processing payments and managing tabs accurately. A friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team atmosphere.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.30-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
