Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team at The Foundry. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming customers and delivering great bar service and hospitalit.

- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanour, ensuring a positive first impression.

- Take drink orders from customers, providing recommendations and offering expertise on our beverage offerings.

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and specialty drinks with precision and creativity.

- Ensure that all drinks are prepared according to The Foundry's recipes and standards.

- Entering food orders.

- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments and giving appropriate change.

- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment regularly.

- Monitor and restock bar supplies and inventory to ensure uninterrupted service.

- Engage with customers in a personable and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

- Collaborate with the rest of the bar and service team to ensure seamless operations.

- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.

- Assist in opening and closing duties, ensuring the bar is set up and closed down properly and efficiently.

- Participate in training sessions and stay informed about new menu items and promotions.

Qualifications:

- Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment is preferred.

- Good knowledge of various types of beverages, cocktails, and drink preparation techniques.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.

- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

The Foundry is looking for a Bartender to join our team in Brecon, Powys.



Bartender Responsibilities:


Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.



Greet customers and answer questions about menu items. Prepare and serve food, including setting up tables, ordering, placing orders on the menu, and serving. Answer guest questions about menu items. Take orders from customers. Cleaning up the bar area after shifts. Restock inventory as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


Must be at least 18 years of age to work in this position.



Must be able to work multiple shifts per week (evening shifts most likely), including weekends and holidays. Able to stand for long periods of time in a stressful environment. Able to work with hands, including cutting fruit. Able to follow instructions and take direction from management. Good time-management skills and ability to work cooperatively with others. Food service experience preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 11.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
