We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and waitress to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender and waitress, you will be responsible for creating delightful beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the bar area to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible drinking practices are followed. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring all orders are processed efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Adhere to all food safety regulations and health standards in the preparation and serving of drinks.

Skills

Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards in the bar area. Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting environment for guests. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements. Previous experience in a restaurant or bartending role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Pay: 11.44-12.21 per hour
