Responsible to:

Bar Manager, Bar Supervisor

Purpose of job:

To ensure all guests are warmly welcomed and to prepare and serve drinks to guests to the required specification

Main duties:

? To adhere to the bars outlined operating procedures at all times.

? To Ensure guests greeted in a pleasant and courteous fashion and that their needs are attended to in a professional and efficient manner

? To follow cash handling procedures as outlined in the company's policy

? To ensure wastage with bar products is minimized and recorded as per company stock control procedure

? To adhere to "first in first out" stock rotation system

? To carry out cleaning duties of bar area in line with opening / closing bar procedures

? To handle any guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times and to ensure manager is made aware of complaints

? To participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance

Wear clean suitable uniform & name badge at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming

Observe all requirements under Health & Safety regulations

To upkeep the company's equal opportunities policy to ensure a neutral working environment

To keep staff/work areas tidy, safe & report any hazard, accident or loss or damage to management and observe all requirements under current health & safety regulations
