Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending principles. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Engage with customers, providing friendly service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given and maintaining a balanced cash register. Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible serving practices are followed. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of any shortages. Uphold safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of basic maths for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods. A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help customers have an enjoyable experience. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
