The Nest by Giddy Goose, is a completely new brand looking to offer those of Forfar and surrounding a new and memorable experience on each visit. Serving brunch, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a flair for creating exceptional beverages. Your ability to manage time effectively and ensure food safety standards will contribute to an enjoyable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service as well as proven experience in cocktail making, barista work and creating soft drinks within a fast paced environment. Experience within the hospitality industry is essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently. Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.

Experience

Previous experience in a bartending or hospitality role is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Understanding of food safety practices within a bar environment is advantageous. A friendly demeanour with the ability to help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Training will be available, however candidates who already have a good level of training on the above will be more desirable. Ideal candidates must have flexible working hours and are able to work weekends.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
