On board Ocean Mist Leith we are looking for a confident, positive person to join our bar team. We are a family run, luxury boat hotel at The Shore with 17 cabins and a beautiful bar serving some incredible cocktails and local beers and spirits.

Salary is 11.50-12.50 p/h depending on experience
Tips are paid monthly directly to our team members

Job purpose is to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Duties and responsibilities include:

? Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available
? Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the bar
? Follows set-up procedures
? Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks
? Greets guests politely
? Mixes, prepares and serves drinks to guests
? Ensures member accounts are properly billed through the Point of Sale System (POS)
? Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur
? Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment
? Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times
? Maintains daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand
? Cleans and locks up the bar area according to prescribed procedures
? Continually practices beverage and revenue control procedures

Working hours: Typical shift is 3pm-11.30pm

Who we are looking for:

Someone with 5customer service who is confident interacting with customers and always striving to go the extra mile. Hospitality experience is preferred but not essential. You will be willing to learn, hold a can-do attitude and have an eye for detail. You should feel comfortable understanding and resolving concerns from guests, and be confident working with payments and money.
