Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding promptly to requests. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting in ordering as necessary. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking identification to verify legal drinking age. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with bartending practices. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members alike.
