Bartender to join the Food & Beverage team at SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel. This is a
permanent, full-time position
, working 5 days over 7.

must be over 18 years old
for this position and available to work evenings and weekends.

competitive salary of 12.50 per hour plus gratuities

The
Bartender
will deliver and create an exceptional and memorable food and beverage experience to our guests in the State Room Lounge Bar.
Provide an excellent bar service and experience for our guests across the hotel's food and beverage outlets
Deliver a memorable service experience to the highest standards with a warm and personal touch
You will engage and interact with our guests creating magical and memorable moments during their time at SCHLOSS Roxburghe
Ensure that your guests drinks orders are taken and executed in a timely manner
Adhere to liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
You will assist in ensuring that all tables in the bar are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times
Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation
Have good knowledge of the different drinks menus available to our guests, assisting guests regarding their drinks choice in an informative and enthusiastic way
Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bar
Boost revenue through upselling and cross-selling across different hotel departments
Follow all safety standards and policies when handling food and beverage

Proven Experience/Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-years' experience in Food & Beverage or the hospitality industry
Previous experience within bar environments is essential and a fast-paced working environment.
Excellent command of English and additional skills, like guest service and interpersonal are essentials.
