Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of beverages. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that customers have an enjoyable experience, and you will play a key part in maintaining the overall efficiency of our bar operations.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent hospitality by engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and disposing of waste properly. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change when necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Excellent time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Basic maths skills for processing payments and managing cash flow effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards to maintain a hygienic work environment. Previous bartending experience is preferred, along with familiarity with various drink recipes. Ability to work well in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
