Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic bar person to provide an excellent customer experience. The successful person must be experienced in pouring alcoholic drinks including cask ales, world lagers, wines and spirits. A friendly, outgoing personality is required to interact with customers of all ages. You must be flexible and be happy to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays, including over the Christmas/New Year period.
Responsibilities
Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for customers Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks, including making pizzas Assess customers' needs and provide a quick and sleek service Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age make pizza's and bar snacks when required Restock and replenish bar stock and snacks Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Be the responsible person for the pub, customer experience, regulations and locking up on your shifts
Skills
proven work experience as a bar person Good knowledge of alcoholic drinks Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Flexible, including working over bank holidays, Christmas, (including Christmas Day) & New Years Eve, and covering staff holidays
