Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Engage with customers, taking their orders accurately while providing recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible serving practices are followed at all times. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate billing and change is provided. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages as necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bartending or within a restaurant environment is preferred. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. Exceptional hospitality skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour towards guests. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
