Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team at

Netil 360 Rooftop Bar in Hackney!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Your ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Assist customers with their drink selections, providing recommendations when necessary. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with licensing laws. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of beverage preparation and service. Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment operation. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods. A solid understanding of food safety practices relevant to beverage service. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour towards customers. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
