Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times. Assist in managing inventory by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Collaborate with floor staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Uphold food safety standards by following hygiene protocols during preparation and serving processes.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately. A solid understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding hospitality to guests.
