Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a flair for creating exceptional customer experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and providing excellent service to our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drinks and menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws regarding alcohol consumption. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong bartending skills with knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions effectively. Understanding of food safety regulations and practices. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50 per hour
