Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when required. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Uphold responsible serving practices, checking identification to verify legal drinking age. Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Experience

Previous experience in a bartending or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Strong hospitality skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
