About Murrayshall:
Set in 365 acres of stunning Perthshire countryside, Murrayshall offers a luxurious four-star country house experience in the heart of Scotland. Lovingly restored over the past few years, the former home of Lord Lynedoch dates back over 400 years. It is situated just 3 miles from the cultural city of Perth, offering guests a tranquil haven in which to unwind and relax, with 40 elegant and spacious rooms and suites, 27-holes of stunning parkland golf and delicious local cuisine in our Eolas Restaurant. The Resort is undertaking a period of growth capitalising on the glorious estate surrounding the hotel, with the latest release being 22 Armadilla pod-style cabins, marking a new era of luxury and comfort for the Estate.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages following standard recipes.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
- Upsell drinks and promote special offers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous.
