As part of the new W Hotel opening in the vibrant St James Quarter and with stunning views over the Scottish capital, our Edinburgh restaurant will be the latest beautiful restaurant to add to our current portfolio in Las Vegas, London, Dubai and Doha as well as planned openings in Bahrain and Riyadh.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager for W Edinburgh and SUSHISAMBA, Bartenders will have overall responsibility assisting in daily operation of the bar, ensuring the bar team works together to provide exceptional service to our guests.

Joining the pre-opening team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel and the restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s opening and beyond. We are looking for someone who is creative, motivated and passionate!

As SUSHISAMBA Bartender, key aspects of your role will include:

• Deliver the highest level of personalized service to our guests
• Prepare drink orders for guests, including bespoke W Hotels and SUSHISAMBA cocktails as well as classic cocktails
• Issue, open and serve wine and champagne
• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of the bar and tables
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
• Stock ice, glassware and paper supplies
• Transport supplies to bar set-up areas
• Wash glassware
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
• Process all payment methods
• Secure liquors, beers, wine, coolers, cabinets and storage areas
• Follow local alcohol licensing laws and hotel policies

Our ideal SUSHISAMBA Bartender is someone who has:

• Previous experience working in high-end, high-volume restaurants and/or bars
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to create memorable experiences for guests
• A positive mindset
• A genuine passion for working in hospitality
