We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where excellent communication and organisational skills are valued. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting, maintaining high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during service and food preparation Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Handle guest queries professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times Process payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system Maintain a clean and organised work station throughout shifts

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Ability to perform basic maths for billing and transactions Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner Experience with guest services and upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not essential Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment A proactive attitude towards teamwork and maintaining high standards of service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 11.50-15.64 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
