Summary

We are seeking a passionate Basketball Coach to join our club, Bath Panthers, in Bath. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing young Basketball players' skills and fostering a love for the game, contributing to our mission of promoting sports among youth.

Coaching Options Days/Times

Wednesday Evening 3 hrs (6pm-9pm)

Thursday Evening 3 hrs (6pm-9pm)

Match Days: Sundays (various hours) (Rate to be agreed)

Responsibilities

Design and implement effective basketball training sessions tailored to various skill levels. Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. Organize and lead practice sessions, ensuring safety and enjoyment. Monitor player progress and adapt training strategies accordingly. Collaborate with other coaches to develop comprehensive training programs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding player development and progress. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among players.

Qualifications

Preferably a proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in basketball. Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage young athletes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of basketball techniques, rules, and strategies. Ability to motivate and inspire children and teenagers. First Aid certification is a plus. Passion for youth development through sports.
