We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and fabrication techniques, demonstrating proficiency in multiple areas such as roofing, plumbing, and electrical work. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the successful assembly and installation of components across various projects.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings to assemble and install components accurately. Perform roofing tasks, including installation and repair of roofing systems. Execute plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Carry out welding tasks as required for structural integrity and project specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction activities. Engage in carpentry work, including framing, fitting, and finishing tasks. Conduct plastering and masonry work to achieve high-quality finishes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

Roofing techniques and materials. Plumbing systems and installations. Welding processes (MIG/TIG). Basic electrical experience for installations or repairs. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks. Fabrication skills for custom projects or repairs. Carpentry skills for structural and aesthetic applications. Experience with plastering, masonry, and construction painting techniques.
