Your Role:

As a Battery Build Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the production and service of our HV battery packs. You will be responsible for the preparation, build and safety testing of battery packs used in our EV powertrain "kits" and our bespoke builds.

Key Responsibilities:

? Assemble complete battery packs including installing all wiring harnesses, mechanical enclosures and fixings

? In-build testing and validation of HV battery packs

? Assembly of subcomponents and sub-assemblies.

? Safety checks and testing of battery packs.

? Liaising with the production manager to deliver products to the agreed schedule

? Working to test procedures

? Maintaining accurate build records

? Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards

? Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental protocols

? Perform additional duties, whether functional or administrative, as assigned by management in a fair and reasonable manner

Requirements:

The successful candidate will;

? Have electrical & mechanical technical knowledge & ability

? Be able to read and interpret engineering and electrical drawings

? Be organised, precise and have a pragmatic approach to working.

? Impeccable attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

? Have previously been certified to HV SAP / AP level or IMI EV level 3

? Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)

? Familiarity with business tools such as Asana, Jira, etc.

Pay: From 25,000.00 per year
