About us

We design and manufacture a modular van conversion system called CRUX along with a range of self-build products for the VW Crafter / Mercedes Sprinter / MAN TGE van platforms.

?Designed for the adventure and active lifestyle leisure industries, we operate from our workshop in Hampshire, UK.

We are seeking a Junior Campervan Build Technician to join vanconcept. Ideally looking for someone who is young and local to us, keen to learn and who can we can develop within the business to take on more responsibilties and increase their skillset.

Our modular conversion system called Crux uses removable panels and cargo rails to make the conversion process fast and flexible to meet customers needs. We manufacture a large part of the Crux system in our workshop in Bordon using CNC router & press brake machines. The person who joins vanconcept to take on this role will join our install team fitting out our customer vans with Crux. Although the system is modular and has been carefully designed to make installation easy, no two vans are the same with differing layouts, finishes and fixings.

Responsibilities

- Assist in our workshop manufacturing our products.

- Fit out cutomers vans with our Crux modular van conversion system.

- Assemble our range of products to fit out vans.

- Assist in the fulfilment side of the business to get our products to our customers.

- Maintain a clean and organized workshop where we invite customers to see what we do.

Skills

- Some "hands-on" experience of wood or metalwork

- Knowledge of workshop tools

- Keen attention to detail

- Problem solving

- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: Up to 25,000.00 per year
