Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic

Business Development Manager

to lead the growth of our Roofing product portfolio in the UK market. This role is pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering innovative, high-performance drainage solutions tailored to the roofing and building materials sector.

About the role

Drive the strategic development and market expansion of ACO's Roofing product range. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UK construction and roofing sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, distributors, and other key stakeholders. Promote ACO's commitment to sustainability, technical excellence, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product innovation aligns with market needs. Represent ACO at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

About you

To be successful in this role you ideally have:



Proven track record in business development or sales within the construction or roofing industry Strong understanding of drainage systems, roofing applications, and building envelope solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Commercially astute with a customer-focused mindset. Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office tools including Power BI. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Desirable:

Degree or equivalent qualification in construction, engineering, or a related field. Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., CIOB, RIBA, NFRC) is advantageous.
