Due to rapid growth and an exciting change in direction, we are seeking a driven and strategic Sales & Business Development Manager to take charge of our sales function and help lead the company into its next phase. The Role
- Sales & Business Development Manager You will be responsible for developing and managing the full sales cycle across both domestic and commercial solar installations. This includes generating leads, nurturing client relationships, closing deals, and expanding into new markets. Working closely with the leadership team, you will have the autonomy to implement new strategies, streamline processes, and drive meaningful growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a clear sales and business development strategy aligned with company goals.
Build, manage, and grow the sales pipeline to meet both short- and long-term KPIs.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry contacts.
Identify new markets and develop strategic partnerships to support expansion.
Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support product/service development.
Lead pricing discussions and negotiations with a consultative, customer focused approach.
Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
Document all commercial activity in Salesforce (training can be provided).
What We're Looking For
A minimum of 2 years' experience in solar or renewable energy sales is admired (other strong B2B technical sales backgrounds considered).
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Confident communicator with strong networking and negotiation abilities.
Ability to build long-term client and partner relationships.
Highly self-motivated, goal-driven, and proactive.
Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
Technical knowledge of solar PV is beneficial but not essential (training provided).
What We're Offering
40,000- 42,000 salary, reviewed after successful completion of probation.
Commission: 2%-5% per installation, offering strong earning potential.
