Position Overview:

Decrobond is currently seeking a skilled Beam Saw Operator, The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing process, responsible for The Beam Saw and executing machining tasks with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilise cutting-edge technology in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

To run the Biesse Beam saw on a daily basis. Handle materials safely, ensuring proper loading, positioning, and securing of workpieces Perform routine maintenance and inspections on saw equipment to ensure optimal performance Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist with fabrication, assembly as required within the workshop or warehouse environment Maintain organised work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times Perform routine maintenance tasks on the Beam Saw, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to create a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain records of production activities, including material usage, machine settings, and quality inspection results, to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of Biesse or similar machinery used in the Fire Door industry. Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels. Proven experience in fabrication, or warehouse environments is desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

Vocational training or certification in Beam Saw or related field. Previous experience with Biesse Beam Saw or similar models. Knowledge of woodworking or metal fabrication manufacturing processes.
