Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fabrication processes. This role involves operating various saws and machinery, ensuring precision and quality in cutting materials for production. The Saw Operator will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

Operate saws and other cutting equipment to fabricate materials according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and CAD designs to ensure accurate cutting and assembly. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including programmable logic controllers, to ensure optimal performance. Utilise hand tools and equipment for materials handling and tooling tasks. Collaborate with the assembly team to ensure components fit together correctly during the production process. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements

Previous experienced in stone / worktops Proficiency in CAD software for interpreting designs is preferred. Familiarity with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently. A commitment to safety practices within the workplace is essential.
