We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating saw machinery to cut various materials accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality production standards. Responsibilities



To run the HOMAG Beam saw on a daily basis. Be able to take delivery of all raw materials using a Forklift Truck. Handle materials safely, ensuring proper loading, positioning, and securing of workpieces Perform routine maintenance and inspections on saw equipment to ensure optimal performance Perform routine checks on other machinery used by the beam saw, EG compressor, dust extraction etc. Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist with fabrication, assembly as required within the workshop or warehouse environment Maintain organised work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications



Proven experience in fabrication, or warehouse environments is desirable Knowledge of HOMAG or similar machinery used in the kitchen industry. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools. Fork lift truck license is essential. Strong understanding of materials properties and handling techniques Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing roles is preferred but not essential Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
