Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Beautician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in guest services and customer care, with the ability to manage front desk operations effectively. As a Beautician, you will provide a range of beauty services, while ensuring an exceptional experience for our clients. Your role will also involve engaging with clients through social media management to promote our services and enhance our online presence.

Duties

Deliver providing various beauty treatments, advising clients on products and services, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. This can include performing facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, as well as offering advice on skincare, makeup, and beauty trends. Key Responsibilities:

Performing Beauty Treatments:

This includes facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, eyelash and eyebrow tinting.

Expertise in performing various beauty treatments.

Ability to effectively communicate with clients, explain treatments, and provide personalized advice.

Customer Service Skills:

Providing excellent customer service, creating a positive client experience, and addressing any concerns.

Promoting beauty products and services, and building a loyal customer base.

Organizational Skills:

Managing client records, appointments, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Ability to Learn:

Keeping up with the latest beauty trends and techniques. -quality beauty treatments, including hair styling, makeup application, and eyelash extensions.

Consultations and Advice:

Assessing client needs, providing personalized treatment plans, and offering advice on skincare, makeup, and beauty products.

Customer Service:

Greet clients, create a positive and welcoming atmosphere, and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Sales and Promotion:

Promoting and selling beauty products, services, and treatments to clients.

Maintaining a Clean and Professional Workspace:

Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring the salon environment is tidy and well-organized.

Staying Up-to-Date:

Keeping abreast of the latest beauty trends, products, and techniques.

Other Duties:

Booking appointments, managing client records, and potentially assisting with front-of-house duties in a salon setting. Provide excellent guest services by welcoming clients warmly and addressing their needs throughout their visit. Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate client records. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored beauty solutions. Maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in showcasing your work, making video/ photo shoot. Collaborate with team members to ensure a harmonious working atmosphere that prioritises client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the beauty industry, preferably as a Beautician or similar role. Strong skills in customer service and guest relations, with a focus on creating positive client experiences. Knowledge of nail techniques is an advantage but not essential. Proficiency in eyelash extension techniques is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service to every client.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 60 per week
